Mac OS X
Q: Siri keeps saying "I don't see an app for that. You'll need to download one."
I just installed Sierra and tried using Siri. I can't open any app on my Mac. Any time I say something like, "Open FaceTime," or "Open Pages," Siri comes back with something like "I don't see an app for that. You'll need to download one," or "You don't seem to have an app named 'Pages'. We could see if the App Store has it."
Hmmm......this doesn't make sense.

If the above suggestions do not work, since Siri recognizes the commands but seems not to know the apps are installed, try re-indexing spotlight.
You can also try toggling Siri off then on in System Preferences.
