Q: Photos face recognition

Photos for iOS 10 and MacOS 10.12 don't sync across devices I populate on one device only for my other device to not have that data shared. I love apples stance on security and privacy but this is a significant feature gap. I want all my devices to have the faces date in sync and to manage in one place and have it replicate across devices. At least give me an option to have it stand across devices PLEASE don't make me do the sample process on my 2 Macs my iPhone and my iPad.... oh and then do it aga on my new iPhone... this does not feel very apple like... :-( disappointing. Loving everything else...

Imac Intel (2.8 GZ), Mac OS X (10.5.1), 4GB Memory

Since OS X 10.12 Sierra  was just released a couple of hours ago I doubt that your Mac has completed it face scan and set up yet - until it is complete one has no idea how it will operate at steady state

My IOS devices have not completed their faces scan yet so I have no experience yet but others have reported that faces do sync across IOS X devices and hopefully that syncing will extend to OS X Sierra

Time will tell but I doubt that mine will be complete for several days - I expect my ISO devices to all be complete by tomorrow

Update - after just an hour or so it appears that my IOS memories have synced to OS X Sierra and some faces may have although I'm not sure yet - too soon to tell
