    Hello haralddegraaf,

That sounds like it could be malware. There are both legitimate and malware versions of "ApplicationManager".

I wrote a little diagnostic program to help show what adware and malware is installed. Download EtreCheck from http://www.etrecheck.com, run it, and paste the results here. EtreCheck is perfectly safe to run, does not ask for your password to install, and is signed with my Apple Developer ID.

If adware is installed, EtreCheck will help you remove it, although you may have to supply a password. If you aren’t comfortable with that, just post the EtreCheck report here and other helpers can tell you exactly what files need to be deleted and how to do so.

Disclaimer: Although EtreCheck is free, there are other links on my site that could give me some form of compensation, financial or otherwise.

I see a few alarming things.  First is you have adware installed on your computer, click the link in the report to remove each.

Next and most critical is it appears you do not backup your computer. This is a dangerous practice and eventually will result in a loss (perhaps a critical loss) of valuable data. If you don't use Time Machine, then you should have a backup plan in place.

Next I see you have Little Snitch installed, this app has recently had some issues with OS X and should be uninstalled.

Finally I see you have a bittorrent installed, if you use this for downloading software you did not pair for (NOTE I AM NOT ACCUSING YOU!!) this is illegal and dangerous as this software frequently has malware attached to it.

    thanks for reply.

did the remove of 4 adware files and it appears to be good now.

and as for your suggestion and by the way thanks for those.

using onedrive as backup for the moment, usedjotta.

yes little snitch i got, for security. have always been with me. so it will stay.

bittorrent is for norwegian broadcaster NRK, witch is bittorrenting everything that has been sent on tv. And everyone in norway that has a tv must pay license so its good.

love this community get help everytime......

thanks again you made my day...........
