Q: iOS 10.0.1 Contacts Notes field

I have an iPhone 5.  I was experiencing many difficulties before 10.0.1 and decided to re-build from scratch (not a restore) when 10.0.1 was released.  I use the Contact "notes" field quite extensively, and some of them get to be quite long.  On the ones where I have a long history (i.e. 40+ carriage returns>), the notes do not display in any readable fashion whether I'm just in 'read-only' mode or if I try to 'edit' them - in fact, I can't edit them.  I can edit other fields which are part of the Contact field listing, but when the notes get to be that long, they run across some of the other field listings.  I have tried to "guess" where the edit box is for Notes by doing sequential 'touches' - but I still am not able to find a way to get into the 'Notes'.  Any help here would be much appreciated.  Thanks.

Have you tried entering these long winded histories in Contacts on iCloud.com and see if it might work there?

Hi- you articulated the bug very well.  Perfectly describes what I'm experiencing.  Sorry not to have a remedy for you but maybe just knowing that somebody else out there is experiencing this bug will save you time you might have wasted thinking the problem was just with your iPhone/contacts database.
