Why is my 4K display not working with macOS on a mac pro?

I have a 2013 Mac Pro (Darth Vader garbage can) edition. I just upgraded today to MacOS from OS 11.11 El Capitan.

My 4K AOC monitor (U2879VF) is no longer working. It is connect to the MacPro using a miniDisplay port to Display port cable. It was working fine with El Capitan.

Any thoughts?

Mac Pro, macOS Sierra (10.12)
