Q: stuck: follow ups - finish setting up iCloud

I just enabled two-factor authentication and I now my iPhone 7 has a red badge on the settings app icon. When I tap in to settings I see "Follow-Ups" at the top of the settings menu. Clicking on it then takes me to a screen that says "finish setting up iCloud" with a menu option for continue.

Clicking continue takes me to a prompt to enter a two-factor authorisation code - but I don't receive one on any of my other trusted devices.

The weird thing is that my phone 7 is already setup with two-factor and is a trusted device.. for instance, I can receive 2 factor codes sent to it when I need to login to appleid on my ma. Also, all my iCloud service appear to be working fine on the iPhone 7.

It's odd that I'm stuck with this annoying badge (which is agony for my OCD...)

Any ideas how to solve this?

Try reseting the device, then try setting up again. When looking for the code, check your laptop, desktop, or iPad.

Hi - are you talking about a power off/on or are you referring to a full reset of the phone? Reluctant to do a full reset as a first step as I've just spent the last couple of days getting the phone configured...

Also - I have all my devices with me and I don't get a code on any of them.

Ok - I wanted to clarify as you mentioned resetting the phone in your post.

I have tried both ways to power-cycle the phone. I also tried toggling keychain on and off in iCloud.

Still have the annoying message...

I might have to turn off two-factor auth and then re-enable but it's a p.i.t.a process when you have 5 devices...

I have powered on and off, no change. Worried I am going to get locked out of my phone. I thought initially it was asking me to enter a new code, which I did a couple of times. It now says "Two Failed Attempts". H E L P!
