I just got the new Iphone7 and started it with my iCloud backup and noticed that the apps for
Garage Band, IMovie, ITunes U , Numbers and Pages are White and you can't open them. Are they no longer available?
Also, in my Message App, only the pHone number is showing up, not the names?

Maybe the apps are downloading.
Check App Store app > Updates > Purchased

Check Contacts app > are the contacts there?
I am seeing this same behavior with caller ID not resolving as you are. The names of the individuals behind the email/phone number are clearly in my contacts but not resolving to name. This is happening to Apple Watch linked to the phone as well.
