Q: Having problems with os sierra and iTunes

I have tonight upgraded to Sierra on my MacBook air 2015 model - it went okay but when I try to play back my purchased tv shows or films they become encrypted and it logs me out.  My music plays okay and my iTunes was updated to the latest version - please help!

    Hi Debbles31,

I see from your post that you're having some trouble playing TV shows and movies you purchased in iTunes. It's certainly important to have access to your content, and I'd like to help with this issue.

Since you mentioned that your iTunes Store account was logged out, try these steps to log back in with the same Apple ID you made these purchases with:

    On your Mac or PC

If you don't have iTunes on your computer, get the latest version of iTunes. Then follow these steps to sign in:

    1. Open iTunes.
    2. From the menu bar at the top of your computer screen or at the top of the iTunes window, choose Account > Sign In.
      iTunes sign in
If you’re using Windows and can’t see the menu bar, learn how to turn it on.
    3. Enter the Apple ID and password that you use with the iTunes Store. Then press the Return or Enter key on your keyboard or click Sign In.

Sign in to the iTunes Store on your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac, PC, or Apple TV - Apple Support

After you sign in, try playing your content once again to see if the same issue occurs. If you run into another error message or error code when you try to play your TV shows and movies, please follow up with that information.

    Cheers!
