want to know how much a new genuine apple tv gen 4 power cord is? and whether i can purchase from an apple store?
been given an apple tv gift from an overseas relative but comes with the EU cord
rather than getting an adaptor, just wish to use a normal cord for Australia voltage and plugs

Hi. You could just cut off the original plug and connect the correct type. Voltage and current will not be a problem.
You can't purchase Apple power cords, just get a regular one from the hardware store, they are a common item so you shouldn't have an issue. Voltage isn't an issue since the Apple TV has a universal power adapter built in. The Apple TV connection is commonly known as a figure of 8 connector, it's IEC name is a type C7 connector.
