Q: No signal iPhone 7 plus

I Was able to find an iPhone 7 plus black, worked well all day went to sleep and next morning no cell signal actual message was No Service.  Tried resetting network services, remove the SIM card, resetting the phone.  Tried same sim in another phone and it works.  Seems to be a similar,at issue to those with the airplane mode issue.  Now there is no stock of the phone I want and I'm stuck with a dead paper weigh.  Any ideas?

I have a similar problem. I have an iPhone 7 from Verizon and it's also dropping the signal while driving. It says No Service. Restarting the phone resolves the problem temporarily. I called Verizon and they have other reports and says Apple is aware of the issue. Hopefully it's just a software fix!

I'm experiencing the exact same problem with my Verizon iPhone 7. Navigation suddenly stops working and I receive a No Service, No GPS signal in the upper left corner. I really hope it's a software issue,  however I did not experience any problems with my old iPhone 6 running iOS 10.

I have a Verizon iPhone 7 Plus and am experiencing the same issue where the cell signal is suddenly dropping in places where 4G service is strong.  The phone shows, "no service" and the GPS signal is gone.  Ironically, turning Airplane Mode on and off or turning the phone off and then on resolves it temporarily but it's happening frequently.

Wi11N, are you finding that it's only happening it when using GPS?  When it happens on mine, it's generally when I am using the Waze app.

I noticed it also when I'm using Waze, but since Waze is almost always on when I'm in the car, it's probably not caused by Waze. One time during "No Service", I quit Waze to see if it would make it easier to reconnect, but it didn't help at all. I still had to restart the phone.

I am having the same issue with my iPhone 7 plus 256gb. I have a 6 plus that will have full strength LTE service and my iPhone 7 will lose connectivity and say "no service" while I am driving. I found I can restore it faster by switching airplane mode on, and then off, but this is extremely frustrating and I'm not sure if its just coming back on after moving out of the particular service area (antenna). I updated the SIM to the brand new one that came with the phone (I originally just transferred the one from my 6 plus into the 7) and was super careful to not touch gold contacts. I also reset network settings and did a full restore of my computer back-up image. I would be interested to see if anybody was able to resolve by just doing a fresh wipe and not restoring from an old backup. Please keep us informed because this is a significant issue.

Yes. These issues occur only when I am using GPS. Makes absolutely no difference  on navigation app. I had problems with Waze, Google maps and preloaded Maps app.

The exact same thing happened to me. My iPhone 7+ worked fine the first day, but no service when I woke up the next day. I tried re-inserting the SIM card, resetting network settings and a full erase, but no luck. When i put the SIM in my iPhone 6, I get service just fine. Also tested the SIM from my wife's iPhone 7 and got no signal in my 7+ as well.

I called AT&T and they confirmed my SIM is good and they believe it is a hardware issue (or an Apple issue) and transferred me to Applecare, which they believe it is a hardware issue and set up an appointment for me with the local Apple Store. The Apple Store ordered a replacement for me, but they have no idea when they will get one. So for now, I have my SIM in my old iPhone 6 and my 7+ sits powered off in a drawer. The lady at the store was nice and understanding, but it's still a bit frustrating.

Hopefully the replacement doesn't have this issue. No idea if it is an iOS bug or truly defective hardware. I've seen this bug being reported by several people on forums, etc. but it's obviously not that widespread or we'd be hearing a lot more about it. Best of luck!

I Found a recommendation on a Verizon thread which said to go into settings, cellular, enable LTE, and switch it to data only. Although this shouldn't be viewed as a permanent fix it did help to resolve the constant loss of connection issues my phone has been experiencing   Hopefully apple or Verizon can release a permanent solution sometime soon because this will remove the ability to make HD voice calls until a fix is released.

I am dead in the water with Verizon cell phone service.

"No Service" on IPhone 7 (IOS 10.0.1 as of this morning).

Has worked fine since Saturday when I set it up. No problems except a glitch doing IOS 10.0.1 update this morning. All looked ok afterwards.

This afternoon was working fine. Took a shower, without phone, came out of shower "NO SERVICE"

Spent 30 minutes with Verizon chat support. They had me go through all the usual suspects. Turn off, take out SIM, restart, reboot, power down, etc. Then sent me to Verizon store around the corner where they tried a new SIM. Nothing,.

Restored from this morning's pre-IOS .01 update. Nothing.

    Found this:

Guess I'm headed to Apple store.

Happening here very frequently in NYC. I am in Brooklyn and Queens very well networked areas. This advanced LTE story is BS Verizon is promoting. LTE has been terrible! The phone goes to no service at least 4x a day.

Running an iPhone 7 Plus 128 Black with iOS 10.1 (beta). The problem seems to coincide when I use waze more than anything. I left a complaint with @applesupport on twitter, and I set up a Genius Bar appointment, gonna push them to swap it out. Even here in NYC with a 24 hour store, no appointments until Sunday Night!

I also keep losing signal now on my IPhone 7  areas where I used to get strong LTE  drops to 3G or says "No service"  I find that  I often need to restart my phone which is a nuisance to have to keep doing
