Q: No signal iPhone 7 plus

I Was able to find an iPhone 7 plus black, worked well all day went to sleep and next morning no cell signal actual message was No Service.  Tried resetting network services, remove the SIM card, resetting the phone.  Tried same sim in another phone and it works.  Seems to be a similar,at issue to those with the airplane mode issue.  Now there is no stock of the phone I want and I'm stuck with a dead paper weigh.  Any ideas?

I'm having the exact same issue! its frustrating my girlfriend is pregnant and we're expecting any day and I can't even get 90% of her phone calls! Way to drop the ball apple! Hope this is fixed sooner than later! Also the not so irritating issue when using head phones no matter what blue tooth or with the lightning adapter the music keeps liking to pause on its own which I also read is a problem multiple people have been getting.   Any apple representatives want to inform us if this is going to be an update or is it going to be a recall issue and how soon are we looking at getting these issues fixed?

I deleted the WAZE app from my phone entirely and haven't had a single problem since.

join the apple beta program. It updates your carrier settings. While not flawless ,I have much better LTE signal and connect to my network extender 75% of the time. Up from 0%

I'm having the exact same problem on my 7 Plus with Verizon. I've never had such terrible service when using maps before. I've tried downloading maps offline even and it doesn't help. We need a solution for the no service bug

Hi all, I had enough so I went in to for a 1-for-1 exchange here in Singapore. So far, the replacement phone seems to work just fine.

+1, same issue. 7+ on Verizon, a week old phone.  Also noticed issue while on Waze and now randomly throughout the day whereas I didn't have issue with 6.  Apple Chat support suggested Reset Network Settings, will see how that goes.

Add me to the list. Had full LTE at work with my 6s, got the 7 the other day and I have "No Signal" all day long now. Raleigh, NC

Thanks for posting. Unfortunately, Apple Support does not regularly read these boards, so if you're also having this problem, it would be really helpful to call AppleCare and report the problem. I've had this since day one and have been working with an AppleCare Level Two support rep who has "taken ownership" of the case (but no solutions yet). Giving them a phone call will assure they know how serious/prevalent the problem is. I was offered a phone swap, but I'm going to wait until the next software update to see if that resolves the problem. Many people have already reported phone swaps and still have the issue.

From everything I've read online, it seems like the temporary fix is to disable LTE for Voice.

This is until Apple/Verizon releases some sort of update.

I tried switching my LTE to data only instead of data and voice and this seems to be the solution. I haven't lost service since and I've used all of the assorted map applications. (Waze, Google Maps, Maps)

Hoping this is just a software issue and not an antenna issue.

Sadly, I have had this issue since Day One.  I am on my 3rd iPhone 7+ (or my second replacement I guess) and I am still having the issue.  I have had 2 different SIM cards from Verizon, also did a network reset as well as a clean install (that is, I lost all my health data, iMessages ,etc) and I still have the dropped GPS then "no service" problem.  I've spoken with AppleCare multiple times and they have no idea -- they said call Verizon.

I read on another message board that someone installed 10.1 beta and it worked.  If that doesn't work, I may just downgrade my phone back to the 6S+.  I had zero problems with my older phone . . . .

I fixed the GPS dropped coverage issue on my iPhone 7 with Verizon

I needed to just reset all settings

Go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings

Be careful NOT to "Erase All Content and Settings"

The "Reset All Settings" keeps all your apps, chat history etc.  It erases all your phone settings

I drove over 200 miles over last three days without any dropped coverage.  GPS works great

I have voice & data for LTE, no problem.  iPhone 7 with Verizon with iOS 10.0.2.  Hallelujah - what a pain till now

For what it's worth, I spent bunch of time with Apple tech support earlier this week.  They said there's no GPS dropped coverage issue with the iPhone 7, but many users have dropped coverage because of legacy settings.  It's an issue for users that restore from backup when setting up new phone

    Thanks so much!

Wife's iPhone 7 on Verizon kept saying "No Service", was about to return it.

Originally had restored from an iCloud backup of her iPhone 6.

Fingers crossed, will keep you posted.

Resetting the settings may work if you backed up the phone from another phone but my phone is doing it and I Set this up as a new phone as it's my first and maybe last iPhone ever
