Will All My Apps, Documents, iTunes, Etc. Be Erased After Updating to macOS Sierra?

Hello everyone,

My name is Jennifer and I was planning to update my OS X Lion (10.7.5) to macOS Sierra, but I'm concerned about if I would lose everything that is already existing on my Macbook Pro like certain programs, apps, and especially all the songs I've uploaded on my iTunes. I spent a REALLY long time manually renaming the thousands of songs I've uploaded on iTunes. I'm planning to update my Macbook Pro now because the OS X and iTunes version I currently have is too old for my iPhone 6 iOS 10 to connect. I would really appreciate it if someone could somehow ease my concerns by possibly telling me the consequences and alternatives for not losing my data. Thank you.
