Unable to move/delete apps - iPhone7

the iPhone will delete by doing the following.

Lightly touch the app, if you press hard you will get the share option

touch the "X" and choose the delete option

to move an app touch the app and slide it to the left or right

I fixed my problem: Settings > General > Restrictions > turn it OFF !!!

And... it works!

At least on my case !

While there has been a change since iOS 10 for the ability to delete many apps, not all can be deleted. However, if the app that you are trying to delete is one that can be deleted and you are not seeing the ✖ to remove it, then go to Settings>General>Restrictions, and see if you have the restriction turned on that does not allow you to delete content. What is preventing you from doing it the "regular" way by lightly holding your finger on top of the icon until it wiggles, then clicking on the "x"?

Note the words "lightly holding your finger on top of the icon". That means do not put any pressure. No pushing - just lightly touching.

Sorry, you are having this problem. If the icon doesn't have a small x in the left top corner

When you lightly touch it and it wiggles than you may have an operating system issue.

Check and see what op version you are using. Try to update your op system and reboot the iPhone.

If you are trying to delete an app that came on your iPhone, you can't delete them. You can only delete

the apps you install from the app store.

If that doesn't work contact your local Apple store for help.

I only get it to wiggle and no "x" appears on any icon. If I press the icon hard, I get the 'share' pop-up. I don't have the fingerprint id set. When this happened before I could use i-tunes. That option is no longer available there. Any suggestions?

touch and keep your finger on the icon but don't press hard like you had to before. iPhone 7 recognizes how hard you press. Quick touch invokes the app, light touch and hold creates wobbling icons with the X to delete, harder touch and hold activates 3D touch

I'm having exact same issues it wiggles an I can move the icon around but no x comes up???

What do you mean by "doesn't work"? What, exactly, happens when you lightly touch the icon?

No change. Tried a different finger on self-installed app. Just get wiggle, no X
