Podcast problem

Since upgrading to iOS 10 on my iPhone, my podcasts don't all play. Many of them say episode is temporarily unavailable. But the episodes never actually become available. Anyone else having this issue?

I understand that since updating to iOS 10, you've been unable to play your podcasts. I know podcats are great entertainment and it's nice to have them working properly, so I'm happy to help.

To start, let's restart your iPhone. You can see the steps for that here:
Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

Afterwards, make sure you can connect to and use the iTunes or App Stores as well. If you can connect to those, that could be the cause for your podcast issues as well, in which case you can follow the steps here:

You'll also find that you can sync your podcasts from your computer to your iPhone using iTunes. This article explains more about that:

Slight variation on the theme: fully updated phone (5S) and iTunes. iPhone is able to see new podcasts, and can stream them... but iTunes suddenly refused to download new episodes. New episodes show up in the iTunes podcast window, but some were already marked as played (i had NOT accessed them on the phone), some were marked as unplayed, but *all* had the cloud/download icon, and NONE would download when I clicked Refresh at the bottom of the iTunes window.
I *was* able to download them manually USING that icon, but now I worry that they are saved and taking up room.

Affected podcasts: Radio - Power Athlete Radio, The Paleo Solution Podcast, and the Wodcast Podcast, all with the most recent episodes as of this morning, 10/18/16. Thanks!
