For me Universal Clipboard is working fine from my MacBook Pro to iPhone but its not working from iPhone to MacBook Pro. Any idea what could be the issue here?

To be honest, even with the tips, tricks, and prayers, this feature is a complete hit-or-miss at best. Another half-baked idea that is poorly implemented beyond the research and marketing departments.

I also have this problem. It's able to copy from MacBook Air and paste on iPhone, but it doesn't work in another way. After copying some text on the iPhone, the clipboard of the Mac doesn't sync.
Not the first report of inconsistent behavior.
You can try
1. Turn bluetooth off
2. Finder>Go>Go to Folder, copy and paste:
/Library/Preferences/
3. Delete the file com.apple.Bluetooth.plist
4. Turn bluetooth on

I have the opposite problem. iPhone to MacBook Pro is working. But it's not working from Mac to iPhone.
Deleting com.apple.Bluetooth.plist doesn't help.
I followed all in Use Continuity to connect your Mac, iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, and Apple Watch - Apple Support and they are on the same wifi access point.
Me too. Exactly the same problem. I have iPhone 6 with iOS 10.0.1 and MacBook Air Early-2015 with macOS Sierra installed from Mac App Store this morning. Mac copying & iPhone pasting works, but the reverse doesn't.

I don't think that's a Bluetooth related problem, because the clipboard sync works at lease one way (Mac -> iPhone). This is solely a software problem in my opinion.
Simply restarting the iPhone 6 solves the problem. Now iPhone copying & Mac pasting OK!
Same problem here. Nothing seems to fix it. And actually even 'working' copy from iPhone to mac is very unreliable - it works 1 time out of 2.
I had this problem as well. iPhone 6s Plus to iMac 27" (running MacOS 10.12.1 Beta (16B2327e). I restarted the phone and now it's working again
Actually everything stopped working after I logged iCloud account on mac off and back on. Handoff stopped working at all, even one way clipboard stopped working. The only thing that still works is AirDrop.
Very disappointed for a feature that should 'just work' like 'magic'. Too bad there are no single indicator or tool to troubleshoot it.
Switching off and on worked for me 😀.

After rebooting Mac and iPhone, symptom has been reversed. Like other guys, I can copy only from Mac to iPhone now. 😕
