Back To My Mac not working on Sierra

A couple years ago, there was a problem with the Mavericks upgrade breaking BTMM. Some clever folks found a software conflict: "Broadband Tuner" needed to be uninstalled and the problem resolved itself.

Fast forward to today's macOS Sierra upgrade, and I now have the same problem all over again. Clicking the box next to BTMM gives the error "iCloud server not responding." Only this time, I don't have Broadband Tuner on my Mac, so I'm guessing there's another software conflict somewhere. Anyone else having the same issue?

iMac (27-inch, Late 2012), macOS Sierra (10.12)

FWIW, I had done a clean Sierra install, and I've tried toggling BTMM several times. I've tried work and home networks (although BTMM works with my Capitan iMac at work).

Hey Jason, have you manage to solve it? I have the same issue. I can see Airport extreme and mac mini but those aren't accessible.

Not working on me either. I have iMac at home in Finland and I use MacBook here at France. I can connect to my iMac with Teamviewer. With Teamviewer I can see the status of my iMac. On both of my Mac´s system preferences, iCloud, BTMM it says iCloud server is not responding. Problems started after updating to Sierra.
