Q: Auto Unlock doesn't work on my iMac 5k

Hi,

I've enabled the function to unlock my Mac with Apple Watch. Two-factor authentication is turned on, and I'm running macOS Sierra and Watch OS 3. Still I need to type my password every time I log on to my computer. Do I need to do anything more in order to have auto unlock to work on my Mac?

I have the same problem. I have set all the settings, but most off the times auto unlock does not work!

Same here. It's really a hit and miss which is quite annoying. I also created a new partition with a final release of macOS Sierra because the support suggested ist could have to do with the 10.12.1 Beta. But as i assumed that didn't work either. But apparently there is no troubleshooting guide to this issue. It either works or it doesn't- in my case it doesn't.
