Q: Bounce Track In place the first time

Hello Members,

I am going to  Bounce Track In Place the first time. I have made a Copy of the project.

My question is. If after bounce I want to edit some part, say Flute 2's part, how should I do? In arrange window I will have Audio only. Is there a way to go back in place or I should make copy from main copy, edit and start over again?

I hope I have made a clear picture of the situation.

Thanks in advance.

Instead of bounce in place use bounce to a new track and then mute original source

this is way you still have access to the original.

You can also hide that source track of you dont want it on the arrange page - just unhide when you need modify and rebounce

    Thanks Indyuser

    I'v got it

    One more question, please

In my project, strings mostly have 5 staffs ( 5 tracks) but in 2 places they are in groups.

Violin I 2 staffs, Violin II 2 staffs and so forth. Can Option help on this situation? How to do one page strings be in a regular (5 tracks/staffs) , next page they have 10 tracks/staffs and ater back again?

    Thanks in advance.

Yes that is likely because you have several regions a track and some of them are not using the same staff style.

In the score click on a section that look the way you want it and in the inspector take notice of the staff style.

Now go and click on the section in the score that has the double staffs ( look at the staff style in the inspector) - Just change it to make the previous one and all the staffs will again be the way you want it.... You may have them accidentally assigned to the piano staff style....

    Hello Indyuser,

I couldn’t accomplish the task you have suggested. The project exists having two different styles

I made a compromise. The biggest score part was selected and I have saved it as the main Style. Now I have a good  view in pages with large violin groups and not so good in a regular use.

I know it isn’t perfect but I need to print the score as soon as possible. Only disappoint thing is I forgot how to hide unused tracks as they are seen  as a grey empty tracks in a regular score.

    Any ideas, please.

    Thanks in advance.

to hide a track right click on the track header and select hide.

Once you hide at least one track you will see an H up in the track header menu at the top. Click this will unhide or hide all tracks you have marked hidden at the track level.
