I always play music and message people on Viber simultaneously, however after the update to iOS10 as soon as I press send on a message in Viber the music fades out and Viber becomes the music source.
Please let me know if there is a solution to this.

Do you have sound notifications enabled for Viber? Perhaps disabling that option will help.
I attempted turning off sound notifications and it did not fix the issue. My phone is currently on silent also, but thank you for the suggestion.
Okay, then try to go to Settings in Viber, select Notifications and then uncheck 'In-App Sounds'. I hope it solves your issue.
