Oct 6, 2016 8:30 AM in response to brunowajskopby Flyafox-JB,Same here in a 2016 Lexus CT200h and GX470
Plays for a minute or so then cuts out, and then drops completely until voice prompt brings it back for something like Waze.
Annoying, and never had the issue with the iPhone 6Plus, just now with the 7 Plus.
Come on Apple...where is your quality you used to have we could rely on? Seems it is dropping, and quickly.

Oct 6, 2016 11:46 AM in response to Flyafox-JBby yoshjosh,iOS 10.1 beta 2 does not solve my issue with stuttering/speedups/dropouts on Ford Sync 2 and my iPhone 7 Plus. I drove with it for about 30 minutes, though, before the problem cropped up again.

Oct 6, 2016 4:02 PM in response to brunowajskopby King of Pumkins,It is the phone. My AT&T 7 wouldn't stay connected to the audio Bluetooth in my car. If I disabled this feature then I could use Siri etc. I returned the 7 yesterday and am back using my 6s. Works fine even with iOS 10.
I had trouble getting Apple to help. Got a case number and never heard back. Not a great experience and will probably not get AppleCare in the future after several bad experiences.

Oct 6, 2016 4:09 PM in response to Flyafox-JBby Flyafox-JB,I am amazed that basic Bluetooth functionality was not part of the rollout Test Plan; seems rather well fundamental considering the iPhone is built off the iPod family, and music has been the cornerstone of the LOB since it was introduced.
MAJOR failure on someone's part.

Oct 6, 2016 5:20 PM in response to brunowajskopby Roggy Rog,Second what was said earlier. Turning off LTE resolves the issue. Go to Settings>cellular>cellular options>Enable LTE>off. Not ideal but it's that or plug into AUX via lightning adaptor. Hopefully Apple can fix this.

Oct 6, 2016 11:17 PM in response to brunowajskopby technogogo,I have this same issue. It is driving my crazy. BMW iDrive 2015. My wife's iPhone SE works perfectly as did my iPhone 6 running iOS 10 before I got the iPhone 7. I opened a case with Apple support and they suggested trying the iPhone SE. When I went back to them to say that worked they just said to talk to the other manufacturer. Wouldn't even acknowledge the amount of talk on the internet from lots of other people with the same issue. Very customer unfriendly and non-Apple attitude!

Oct 7, 2016 5:56 AM in response to technogogoby King of Pumkins,Same here. So frustrated I just returned the 7 before the 14 day period as I didn't want to get stuck with it. I have had one too many poor experiencea with AppleCare to wait and trust them. One thing I have learned is AppleCare isn't worth it for me.
I am back using my 6s and have had zero issues; even with iOS 10. Something seems seriously wrong with the 7 and I didn't want to trust a "patch" would fix it. I have AT&T and a BMW.
Sorry about your experience. I too was looking forward to the 7 and have been more than disappointed in Apple with product performance and its support system.
PS The autocorrect function of this forum makes me think Apple is just messing with me now.

Oct 7, 2016 8:16 AM in response to crhopby King of Pumkins,I have talked with people that are exchanging their new phones before the 14 day period is over. Some joke that they will keep doing this until a patch is release. I just don't have the time so I am using my old trusted 6s. I am rethinking this whole "be in the front of the line" concept. It seems like anytime I get a new phone soon after it comes out I have more problems than it is worth. It is a true bummer. It is one thing to come out with the same phone every 3 years, but to have problems such as these just makes me wonder. I guess Apple's employees don't drive cars or use the new phones before they are released. Bummed again.

Oct 7, 2016 11:13 AM in response to King of Pumkinsby poughquag_K,I'm having problems connecting to any BT device - car, speakers, etc. - dosen't seem to matter what device it is the BT connection is not working with iphone 7.

Oct 7, 2016 1:26 PM in response to poughquag_Kby King of Pumkins,IT is a bummer that everyone is having issues. I have noticed that if I start playing music after I have been looking at songs that I don't have on one of my personal playlists the Bluetooth gets confused. But if I reconnect and start from my own music all is good. So there might be a component of 10 that messes with the operations. Apple Music has always been kind of touchy so I would guess that there is something in Apple Music that is screwy too. However, with the 7 there is something with the hardware would wouldn't allow me to connect at all. Or maybe it was a hardware software combo. Who knows.
