Oct 18, 2016 5:52 PM in response to CyberEntby soiidxsnake,I hear ya, I thought for a second that the newest update 10.0.3 last night might have been the silver bullet... WRONG! I erased apple map since that always seem to interfere with the BT/Music combo when it is updating my location. My only suggestion is that we need to leave feedback on their website apple.com/feedback, the comments that are here although helpful in terms of acting as a support group... pretty much ends here, Apple support will NEVER acknowledge this problem until they get enough negative feedbacks on the link. I spoke to advisor supervisors on numerous occasions and they keep insisting its the firmware of the car and other issues while adamantly denying its an inherent apple issue, they went so far to suggest we should just be happy because our phones are not "blowing up like samsungs." Laughable! I am shocked cnnfn or cnbc hasn't done an expose on all these issues with iphones yet, maybe after the election...

Oct 18, 2016 5:57 PM in response to CyberEntby davidsignal,Did you try turning off LTE? That is at least a compromise that allows full use of the bluetooth for the time being. When Apple finally does fix it, we won't have to bother with that setting anymore.

Oct 18, 2016 7:03 PM in response to soiidxsnakeby King of Pumkins,It is disappointing to hear about these issues. I wanted to respond to the guy that is still "Frustrated" but his post appears to be gone. Did the administrator take it down? One of the guys that reviewed the 7 on YouTube indicated he can't use Bluetooth either. He mentioned he bought a 20 dollar product to fix the issue. Bummer.

Oct 18, 2016 7:10 PM in response to davidsignalby soiidxsnake,i agree, that may be a temporary fix, but I'm just advocating for our rights as consumers. Instead of fixing or even acknowledging this flaw with the most expensive smart phone product on the market, Apple has chosen to ignore the problem or shift the blame onto others. Why should we as consumers have to navigate around this flaw when the seller won't even apologize or acknowledge the problem, we are enabling apple to further abuse their power and continue to market sub-par merchandise...

Oct 18, 2016 7:12 PM in response to King of Pumkinsby soiidxsnake,i wish someone will expose this and make Apple take responsibility for hastening the release of a flawed product, but like they say... at least our phones are not blowing up.

Oct 18, 2016 7:20 PM in response to soiidxsnakeby King of Pumkins,Agreed. I think at times Apple makes it even hard to use these forums or report problems to anyone that seems to care. Extremely disappointed. This forum always autocorrects my posts to make them less coherent (than normal?). My wife and I actually put off getting new Macs after our last 2 experiences with Apple (and really AppleCare). Without more media attention on such issues I am not sure if changes will happen soon.

Oct 18, 2016 7:23 PM in response to King of Pumkinsby soiidxsnake,i spoke to them, they said to use www.apple.com/feedback and that this forum is basically a place for us to vent and support each other, I don't think ANYONE ever comes here to read our comments

Oct 18, 2016 7:38 PM in response to brunowajskopby Authority.wL,I hate to play devil's advocate, but it's a new device. Every new device (regardless of manufacturer) will have bugs. This will likely (>90%) be fixed with a firmware update to the radio... Apple is huge, look at the forums... So many topics, they obviously have to prioritize their efforts. I don't know of any enterprise-level company that uses forum topics to report and respond to bugs... Most have a ticket system, feedback, etc...
If you want their attention, and for this to be addressed sooner than later, report it the proper way. Obviously this forum is great for community awareness, workarounds, and communication for users. It's also a great place to vent frustrations. But don't expect Apple to read every single rant-topic that pops up on their forums; regardless of how active it is.
I hope that everyone on this topic who has voiced their problem and frustration with this issue has also used their feedback system to report it. They're obviously working on releasing bug-fixes (e.g. 10.0.3) and have mildly reduced this bug with the Beta...
tl;dr use http://www.apple.com/feedback to report this problem as mentioned.

Oct 18, 2016 7:44 PM in response to Authority.wLby Showbizz,Here is the issue with your line of thinking. YES, its a new product. However Apple has set the bar very high when they REMOVE the headphone jack and force everyone to wireless.
Now, the only way that cars can connect to a phone is through bluetooth (I'm pretty sure but not 100 percent) so if there is an issue with the very technology that Apple has forced its dependence, well, then Apple needs to OWN the problem and FIX IT!

Oct 18, 2016 7:47 PM in response to King of Pumkinsby CyberEnt,YES - apple removed my last post outline how agrivated and frustrated I was citing "We removed your post iPhone7 Bluetooth issue in the car because it contained information about beta software available only to Registered Apple Developers. " Unreal. There was nothing in my post about the beta except that it did not work and only caused more issues. Something that is being reported by 50% of the posts in this thread. This also shows that Apple is reading these posts. I give up.

Oct 18, 2016 7:46 PM in response to Authority.wLby King of Pumkins,If Apple came out and said this then I would be okay, but it doesn't address the issue so we either have to return the 7 or use a bad product. What really ***** is the phone isn't that different from the 6s and it doesn't work right.
