Since I upgraded to iOS 10 on my iPhone 6 and got my new iPhone 7, my notifications do not work properly. I used to get notifications from many different apps. i have the notifications activated in the app and in the settings. I've had multiple people look at and others have noticed they aren't getting them as well.
any suggestions?

This is strange but after hours of trying found that if I go to SETTINGS....then FACETIME....allow contact using email address....or add email address attached to Apple ID...which I did..it worked for me yet no idea why I needed to re-do this since last update....
Try to reset your device. This won't delete your data stored on this device.
Alternatively, you may go to Settings - General - Reset - Reset All Settings
If this does not help, restore your device to factory settings. Note that this will erase the data from your device.

A simple restart not even reset, resolved the issue that I've been having for a week now after I moved to my new iPhone 7.

For some reason today all app notifications with the exception of messaging and calendar do not seem to work. I tried resetting the network connections but that didn't work. I also fell down the home button and the button on top of the phone until the Apple logo appeared but I still am not getting any notifications from News, game apps, ESPN, NHL and other apps that was working fine yesterday or the day before. For some reason today everything just stopped with the exception again of messaging and calendar. Push notification buttons are on and active. Could it be something other that is going on with Apple??? I do not see a need to factory reset my phone and delete everything I had on my phone. I have an iPhone 5S with iOS 10.1.1. I also did not make any changes between yesterday and today. Please somebody help! Thank you..
