Q: iOS 10 dismiss a notification

Previously I was able to swipe up to dismiss an incoming text message notification. But this doesn't appear to work in iOS 10.

Eg; earlier today I was showing friends some photos on my iPhone when someone texted me about 4 times. Each time we had to wait for the notification to disappear off the screen when previously I could swipe up to get rid of it. I know it's not a massive big deal but it's kinda irritating. Does anyone know if there's a way to dismiss these things quicker in iOS 10?

THANKS

    Hi,

when I started with ios 10 I had the same issue.

But then I figured something out: While, in the old ios, you had to touch the notification from the lower bottom and move it up, in ios 10 its working if you actually touch in the middle of the notification.

I hope it works the same for you, needed a little change of behaviour.
