All I can suggest is keep hunting until you find a third party shop that has parts and can fix it. It is a deprecated device as far as Apple is concerned. They no longer service or support it nor have replacement devices available and they never stocked parts for it as service was handled by replacement, not repair.

p.s. https://www.ifixit.com/Store/iPhone/iPhone-1st-Gen?page=2&display=list Lists the display available for $200 but out of stock, and should have a repair guide too. Note those will be salvaged/used parts, but ifixit shop has a good reputation, has been around for awhile and offers a lifetime parts warranty. You could contact them and ask about display availability for 1st gen iphone.
