Q: Caller ID now shows all calls as United States on iOS 10

After updating my phone to iOS 10.0.1, all incoming phone calls, local or long distance now show the location as "United States", rather than the City/State, etc. as was standard on prior iOS versions.

I saw another post that suggested checking Settings/General/Language and Region, and also Settings/Phone/Dial Assist (On). these were/are my defaults.

Anywhere else I can check to restore the full Caller ID function? I'd appreciate any feedback. Thanks!

My Boss had this problem with his iPhone 6 after the iOS 10 update. It appears that Verizon has a workaround while waiting for a fix from Apple. The Tech said if the call-waiting feature is unloaded from the phone and reloaded (all of this by Verizon) it corrects the problem with the caller I.D. Display. They performed this action over the phone and now it works properly.
