Why,can,my,SIM. Not ,be,read?It,is,in,the,UK,my,I,pad,two,different,sincerities,not,USA.,number,that,is,not,good,!

This is far too American for me in the United Kingdom 😕

my I phone has one sim my I pad another but iPad thinks it is one number it is not and I do not want it to be.

why is American so complicated ?

If Apple is in the UK why does the page keep going to USA when I select UK?

iPhone 4S, iOS 6.1.4, I have I pad and I phone

Hello, whocareswhowins.
Thanks for using Apple Support Communities. I see you're asking why your iPad can't use the "number" from your carrier instead of your iPhone's phone number. I'll be glad to explain.
Set up cellular data service on your Wi-Fi + Cellular model iPad -- Your iPad's "number" is being used to connect to your carrier's data plan. It cannot be used as means for others to contact you through iMessages on your iPad. Instead, you use an email address or your Apple ID. See Add or remove your phone number in iMessage or FaceTime on your iPad, iPod touch, or Mac for more information.
Apple -- Since Apple is based in the United States, the default URL will take you to the American site. In the UK, set your default Apple URL to http://www.apple.com/UK

Take care!
