Q: Apple Watch and Wi-Fi calling - repetitive "Wi-Fi Calling for Other Devices" Message

I recently received an Apple Watch Series 2 and an iPhone 7 Plus, and I set up the Wi-Fi calling feature using the online instructions here https://help.apple.com/watch/#/apd2fe746e86.  Although I was able to get it to work, I keep getting an annoying recurring message on my iPhone (sometimes it's 10 minute between pop ups, sometimes a couple seconds, and it will appear on my lock screen too) that reads "Wi-Fi Calling for Other Devices: Wi-Fi Calling is now available for other devices on your iCloud account."  Has anyone else experienced this, know what the problem is, and whether there is a fix?

    Greetings jsrosenfeld,

Congratulations on the new Apple Watch Series 2 and the iPhone 7 Plus! I understand that you are wanting to use Wi-Fi calling, but are experiencing an recurring message that "Wi-Fi Calling for Other Devices: Wi-Fi Calling is now available for other devices on your iCloud account" and you would like to have that message stop popping up. I know how frustrating a message constantly popping up can be, and I will be happy to help you out.

The first thing I'd like to have you do, is if you have any other devices on your iCloud account, please go ahead and toggle the Wi-Fi calling switch on and then back off again on those devices. Also, if you haven't already, restart your iPhone as well. Some helpful articles are listed below.

Make a call with Wi-Fi Calling

Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Please reach back out if you are still experiencing this issue. Have a great day!
