Q: Weird crack-ish thing in the 6S display
first of all, sorry for the quality of the pictures but I'm literally in the middle of nowhere and there was no better camera to be used than my friend's old Samsung.
so here's the thing. I woke up today to this.
It looks like a rainbowy straight vertical line. It's like 1 pixel wide and 10-15 pixels long.
It basically disappears when the screen is dimmed or when the background is dark.
Now here's the catch. I have never dropped my phone, never bumped it into anything, I literally treat it with more respect and kindness than I treat my girlfriend. I'm also pretty positive that it happened overnight but then again, I can't be sure of that.
My phone is still under warranty, but there's around 500 miles to the closest Authorized Service Provider. I'm spending this summer in Africa (the phone was also bought here so there's no problem with the warranty coverage) so i can't go to the Genius Bar as it's something I would advise anyone else.
That'a why I'm looking for some help before going on a 'save my iPhone' trip.
The thing is that I'm scared that Apple will tell me it's a mechanical problem caused by me. That's why I'm trying to get some info before doing anything.
I guess this question is to someone to whom something like that happened before or to someone who knows more about LCDs than I do.
Oh, the last one: the glass is intact, no scratches, no cracks whatsoever. The problems seems to be with the LCD itself.
here's the link to some pictures, as the ones I'd post here would be compressed.

thanks,

EDIT: those dark horizontal lines on the pictures must have been some noise, they're not visible on my display.
