Tell us what your problem is - in excruciating detail - and we may be able to help... at the very least, you will get practice telling your story if indeed you need to contact Apple Support.

If you are covered by a warranty, no one wants your credit card info or $$$. And, if you follow the support path, which I did, I was offered to send an email regarding my problem. But, there is no "general" email address.
I spent more than an hour with Apple support yesterday - on the phone - extremely courteous and, since she could not fix the two problems I have, she offered me a swap to a new iPad Pro (it is not only within the warranty, but I also have the Applecare +.
So, your blanket statement is misleading at best.
