Q: Music Not Playing with USB

When I'm in the car I have always plugged my phone in to one of the USB ports because it allows me to listen to music and use voice controls to change songs/artists/etc.  I have most of my music downloaded and stored on my phone (not using Apple Music).  I recently upgraded to IOS 10 and everything seemed to  be going well, for the most part.  Out of nowhere on Monday, music is no longer playing when I connect the phone with USB.  Last night the music started playing from the phone itself instead of through my car.  It is also connected via Bluetooth and works that way but I am not able to use voice controls.  Music was playing via USB after I downloaded IOS 10 but stopped abruptly Monday evening.

Has anyone else experienced this with IOS 10?  If so, is there a fix available for it?
