I randomly lose permissions to folders on our network

I can be working out of a folder on our company's network server, and suddenly and randomly get locked out.

Sometimes I can click away and come back in a couple of minutes, sometimes I'm locked out all day.

There is never any rhyme nor reason on when or how this occurs. Any ideas?
