Q: How does developer access to user data differ between Message apps and third-party keyboard apps?

After upgrading to iOS 10, I downloaded a few free sticker apps on the new Message app store, but I quickly became concerned with what data these new apps could possibly collect. I remembered that iOS 8 gave users access to third-party keyboards, but to do so, they had to give full-access to keyboard data which potentially includes key-stroke data. I reread the terms and conditions for iOS 10 but couldn't find any specific section on the new message apps. Does anyone know then if these new apps, like the third-party keyboard apps, give comparable access to user data?

iPhone 6, iOS 10, null
