Locked out

I have managed to lock out of my ipod touch as I cannot remember the password or security questions to my apple id linked to it. I thought a full reset would remove it, but it didn't, now I cannot get past the set up page. Is there any way of disassociating an apple ID from an Ipod without logging on to the account. Oh, and the security email used is the icloud account I cannot access!! I know, idiot!! If I lose access to the account, so be it, that is the least of my issues I just want to get my ipod back!
