Q: finding tmp files in documents
I am using CorelDraw in Windows 10 with Parallels. I suspect parallels made some changes because lately whenever I export a drawing to a jpg file a .tmp file is also created. I am thinking CDR has always done this and perhaps in windows it is hidden and eventually delete. IDK. But this is new behavior in my macOS as I have been using CDR this way for many years. But now I have all these tmp files. The issue is less about the creation of these, although I wouldn't mind that stopping. But how to do a search to find and delete. It seems that Finder refuses to search tmp files even though they are in the documents folders and not the Library area. All advanced search techniques fail to get results; kind:tmp, *tmp, filename:tmp etc. I even did a terminal search and got a flood of permission denied messages.
