Siri won't start on macOS Sierra

I recently upgraded to macOS Sierra (public release) and everything seems fine, with the exception of enabling Siri. I have tried to enable it from the System Preferences as well as running the Siri App from the Application folder. I have even tried "enabling" it by selecting it from the menu bar.

In all cases it won't start. When enabling from the System Preferences I get "There was an error in Siri preferences." and it returns me to the System Preferences main view.

Is there any log files that I should be reviewing to determine what is causing this problem?

Thanks,

Steve

Not much of a response on this. Let's see if we have anything in common.

I connect to my corporate LAN using AD (Active Directory) and use a VPN provider (Check Point) and a Virus protection product (Cyclance). I checked the log files for the VPN and Viris programs and they did not have any log entries indicating anything being blocked.

Do you have anything in common to this? Anything else you can think of that is blocking Siri from being enabled?
