Q: Can iTunes be rolled back a version? (OS X)

Hey,

I love iTunes, just upgraded to v12.5.1.21 due to an auto audio adjustment issue (but that is besides the point) and I do not like the new look and giant album art/play buttons.  I want to know:

-Has anyone successfully rolled back a version of iTunes on OS X? (If so how?)

I would like to skip this version for now and wait for the next version...  Also, If I flatten my system and re-install the OS, would that automatically give me the same version of iTunes? Or would it be an older version?

Thanks for any help/advice in advanced!

Get Info on the iTunes app and change permissions to read and write. Then delete the app. Download the previous version and install.

    That's how I did mine.

Note: If you have used 12.5.1 then the library file may have been updated and give you a warning. Therefore, before you install the previous version, drag the itl file to your desktop and replace with either your back up version of the file or the latest from the folder called Previous library Versions.
