I wiped my hard drive to deal with space issues and wanted to reload El Capitan and when I attempt to install it I keep getting the "This item is temporarily unavailable. Try again later" message... What do I do now?
Sierra has been released, so El Capitan is no longer available unless you downloaded it in the past in which case you can re-download it from the Purchases page in App Store. Or you can upgrade to Sierra.
so how do you recover, I booted recovery mode and it makes you log in and it is supposed to download mac OS from the internet and install it. but I get the error "this item is temporarily unavailable"
