Flickering in final cut x 10.2.1

Hello. I'm cutting a music video , and have had issues with black flickering in some of the clips. It seems to be effect related. Here's me specs:

Mac Pro (Early 2009)

2x3.332 Ghz Quad core Xeon

16 gb memory 1066 Mhz DDR3 Ecc

Running 2 graphics cards

ATI Raedon 4870 512 MB

Nvidia GeForce GT 120 512 MB

This is just started happening....Any help would be appreciated. I've already trashed my preferences and so forth.

I suppose "so forth" includes deleting render files.

If you suspect it is effects related, which effects are they? Try selectively turn effects on and off and see how the issue is affected by these changes. If one particular effect is at fault, you should then find out which one.

yeah, it seems like colour correction and stabilization don't like to play together....will have to do some fine tuning. Thanks!
