i have just updated my 13 inch macbook air to sierra, only to vind out that airplay mirroring does't work anymore.
i only get audio, but no visual. i have no idea how to fix this.
it does work with my iphone 6 with ios 10.
the apple tv is second gen.
can anyone help me out with this problem?

Well, you posted your question in the MacBook (instead of MacBook Air) community, so it's hard to tell exactly what type of machine you actually have.
If you have a MacBook Air, it can only do AirPlay Mirroring if it is from mid-2011 or newer.
If you have a MacBook, it needs to be early 2015 or newer. (It seems unlikely you have a MacBook, since you said it is a 13" machine.)
