If your iPhone is already updated to the latest software:


Update the iOS software on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support


Then it may help to unpair and re-pair your watch:

To confirm, if you have not yet done so, first update your iPhone to the latest version of iOS 10:

Also delete any beta profiles (on your iPhone and/or watch) and restart both devices (this only applies if you have ever participated in an Apple Beta Software Program).
