Sep 22, 2016 10:51 AM in response to em275by em275,I am trying to import an audiobook. On previous versions, I was able to CTL+A and join the tracks and make them one track. My goal is to make each disc one track so I can merge them into one audiobook using another program. This option disappeared after this upgrade.

- the CD tracks are in ascending order based on the unlabeled "track number" column to the left of the track names:

- you've selected two or more contiguous tracks
then the Join Tracks function should be available via the "gear wheel" icon on the CD import screen (the screenshot above is from an earlier release that labeled the same submenu as "Options").
- the CD tracks are in ascending order based on the unlabeled "track number" column to the left of the track names:

Sep 23, 2016 11:49 AM in response to em275by hhgttg27,That's because you don't have the tracks sorted on the first (unlabeled) column. It's counter-intuitive, I know, but Apple have coded this such that Join Tracks is only available when the sorting is explicitly determined by the track numbers, even if other sort orders result in the same sequence.
Try clicking in the header row above the track numbers - this should reverse the track order and a down-arrow symbol will appear to the left of the "Name" heading. Then click in the place again to put the tracks in ascending order, with an up-arrow symbol will appear to the left of the "Name" heading. Now click on the "gear wheel" icon - the "Join CD Tracks" option should now be available.
