Q: People Recognition in Sierra

Once Sierra scanned my photos and created the new People section, I clicked on "Confirm Additional Photod" for each name. It found a lot more. But I made some mistakes--I said "No" to some that I now realize I shujld have accepted. Is there away to force a new search for faces so that I can pick up those I missed?

Just go to the bottom of your people album and press the +. They will all still be there. Just select a group and merge. It will add them to the people album. Then merge that group with the appropriate person

You can also name the faces of persons while viewing your photos enlarged.

Enable "View > Show Face Names". As you step through your photos while viewing them enlarged, you will see circles around the faces that have been detected and you can type the name directly into the textfield below the faces circle.

This also helps to discover persons with wrong names assigned.
