I was searching Lightning Female to 3.5 mm Male but It seems doesn't exist yet. So i can't use lightning EarPods for MacBook Air at this moment. Hopefully they will make that adapter soon.

its probably a bit inconvenient but if you've ever owned an apple pencil it comes with an adapter. lightning to lightning, so start with the lightning EarPods. Plug EarPods into lightning to lightning adapter. on the other side of the adapter plug the lightning to 3.5mm headphone jack adapter into it (the one that also comes with the iPhone 7). then, finally, get a 3.5mm to 3.5mm AUX cable. plug that into the lightning to headphone adapter and then plug it into the MacBook. its long but it might work.
LIGHTHING EARPODS + LIGHTNING TO LIGHTNING ADAPTER + LIGHTNING TO 3.5MM HEADPHONE JACK + 3.5MM TO 3.5MM HEADPHONE JACK = LIGHTNING EARPODS ON MAC
Hi,
don't do that, the adaptor for Apple Pencil is not a symmetric Lightining to Lighting gadget, in one end it's designed for the Apple Pencil and no other male Lightinging will plug.
Of course you can risk yourself and try to adapt it maybe cutting the edges a bit, but I'm not.
Regards
I've ended up carrying the jack adaptor around and using my old 3.5mm equipped iPhone headphones for this exact reason. I wonder if the next MacBooks will have a lightning connector or more likely a USB-c adaptor for us to use them? Seems silly to create a situation where headphones can't be moved between devices, im certainly not carrying 2 pairs around if I can avoid it.
Ideally what we need is a cable (or dock) that has a male USB connector on one end and a female Lightning connector on the other, so that the Lightning EarPods can get digital source sound from the Mac (via the Mac's USB port). This way the EarPods can use the DAC already built into them to convert the audio to analog. It will sound better. I have noticed that the Lightning EarPods sound better when plugged into the iPhone via Lightning than the standard EarPods with 3.5 mm jack sound. I hope Apple either develops the necessary accessory so we can use Lightning EarPods directly in the Mac, or adds a Lightning port to the Mac.
Well sounds good! But where can I get "LIGHTNING TO LIGHTNING ADAPTER" ?
Didn't find it splited from apple pencil...
