Q: OSX 10.11.5 Constantly Freezing

I have a late 2009 27" iMac that is constantly freezing (crashing) since installing El Capitan.

It started with the occasional screen freeze where you had no mouse mouse movement

nor keyboard action.  Then freezes started happening when streaming video, the video

would freeze and the auudio kept playing for a bit longer then it would freeze.  The only

thing you could do is a hard boot (Hold down the power button).  Now the freezes are way

more frequent.  If I try to access my time machine it freezes, if I am just surfing the net it

eventually freezes.

I have booted from recovery hard drive

I have recovered from Time Machine (Option no longer available)

I have reinstalled OSX

I Did "First Aid" on my startup disc.

Reset PRAM

Reset SMC

Screen freezes at this point made the iMac unusable.

Out of warranty and out of luck now?

iMac, OS X El Capitan (10.11.5), 2.8Ghz Intel Quad Core i7 / 16GB /
