how to stop album in Music from repeating on iPhone 6

iPhone 6, 64 GB, iOS 10.0.1, updated apps

I like to listen to an album while falling asleep. With an old iPod and a SoundDock, the album stops playing after it's finished. With my iPhone 6, the album--or perhaps an individual song--keeps playing through the night when I'm using EarPods or just have the phone near me. How do I get it to stop repeating? Do I need to click on each track and make sure the repeat symbol is off, or is there a way to stop the whole album from repeating?

You will see an icon that looks like this:

if it is highlighted, you are in album repeat mode, if it is highlighted with a "1" on it you are in track repeat mode. Make sure it's not highlighted at all, and it should play through to the end of the album you are listening to, and stop.

There's no icon like that for any of my albums, only for individual tracks. The only symbol for the whole album is the shuffle symbol. I'd have to go to each track and make sure the repeat mode is off, which I was hoping not to do.

Yes, the icon is listed under the track you are listening to. It applies to whatever is "Up Next," which by default is the rest of the album you are listening to. When you tap the icon it changes from highlighted (repeat all) to highlighted with a "1", to not highlighted at all... this is the mode you want. Like turingtest2 said, you can just tell siri "Repeat off" and it solves the problem, no?

Thanks! I think this worked, though I fell asleep while trying it out. At least I didn't wake up with music playing.
