I had to replace my laptop so I need to change my PC name

I had to replace my laptop and need to change the iPhone to reflect the new laptop and a new modem. How do I do this?

iPhone 6s Plus, iOS 9.3.2

New computer + existing iPhone = lost media unless people take care.

The user tip should help them set things up without losing any data. Changing the name of the computer to match the old is quite easy to do in Windows, but won't help one jot. A new modem (or router?) simply needs configuring. Both computer and iPhone should be set up so they can use it as a gateway to the Internet, but again not really an Apple/iPhone question.

I can understand that. And yes, it can happen when changing computers, but the thing is the question really does not imply any issue with the music or anything like that to me.

I mean I could in all honestly guess its possible there's an issue with lost music, but it could also be something else.

The question itself does not really give me enough to jump out and say it and issue with lost music right off the bat like that.

Not saying you are wrong, just that I would not have gravitated towards that scenario without a bit more context.
