What is the difference with icloud for windows and icloud.com ? I am trying to figure out how to save all of the photos off an iphone 5c that has never used icloud before. I got it all setup with an apple id and did an initial backup to icloud and also to Itunes. The bigger question here is that out of all the over 800 pictures on the iphone 5c, only 200 + have shown up. I have turned on icloud photo library,upload to my photo Stream on the device. I understand it might take a little while to upload to icloud but it's not making sense why they all are not there in icloud.com/photos. The rest of the photos that are not in the main library were in the "Albums" and the "Recently Deleted" area on the far right of the screen. I click on the "Recently Deleted" icon and next I hit "select photos" then "Recover All". This does not appear to be moving the pictures from the "Recently Deleted" area into the rest of the library which is my main objective. When I did the itunes backup, I ended up removing all of the pictures onto a External Hard drive to be extra safe. But, I did not "delete" off device at that time. It was once I finished updating the IOS to 10 and got it connected to the wifi here at work that it looked like it was starting to send the pics to icloud. However, not all of the pictures are there and it has been around 2- 3 days already. I am going to hit " Recover All" once more to get them to upload back over to the library with the rest of them. Can someone tell me if the phone is connected / disconnected from wifi periodically during this process will that stop the upload to icloud ?
