Q: Faces foto

I want to ask: should sync faces on ios and macos? if not, why not? and if you can incorporate this feature in future versions of the firmware? If synchronization is possible then how?

iPhone 6, iOS 10, And macos sierra

    The people albums do not sync between Macs and iOS, more's the pity.

     

    The Photos Help has just been updated for Sierra, and we finally have it in writing:

    Note: People identified in the People album are not synced across devices.

    And as far as I can tell, it really does not sync between my Photos Libraries on the MacBook Pros and my iMac.

    People are synced among devices where you’re signed in with the same Apple ID.

     

     

    I cannot test on the iOS devices, because only my iPhone can be updated to iOS 10, not the iPad and iPod touch, but the iPhone does not sync the Persons with my Mac.

     

    As to why Apple did not make it possible to sync Person albums, we can only speculate, and that is not allowed in Apple's forum.

    It may be a problem of privacy - personal data in cloud storage.

    I Have iPad, iPhone ( ios 10), MacBook ( macOS sierra) and the syns dont work on everyone, so i need to add every faces every times on each devises. Likely i have not so many photos, but its me...

    as for speculation, can we in some way invite apple representative (or someone like that) to this "problem"?
