Q: Photo presentation

I have to give a talk where I will show a whole lot of my photos using my Macbook Air linked to a projector. I don't want an automated slideshow because I need to select the next photo  only when I'm ready for it. And I don't want to have the hassle of dragging each photo individually into Keynote or Powerpoint and resize it to fit. I can select the photos in Finder and put them on full screen, but then I don't have the ability to order them in the way I want. Can anyone suggest what is the best software to use?

iMac, OS X Mavericks (10.9.1)

You could create a standard album in Photos for Mac, sort the photos manually in the album, then select the first photo in the album and show it in Full Screen mode. now you can use the arrow keys to advance the photos and sow them one by one, when you are ready.
