Notifications occasionally appearing in different language

I've had my iPhone 5s for a little over a year, and I've noticed in the past month or so I occasionally get notifications in different language, looks like Arabic. It isn't a message notification, today it was Instagram and previously it has been BBC news.

Does anyone have any ideas as to why this is happening? And how to stop it? I've checked my language settings and it's all correct...

So you don't see any other languages under a section for "Preferred Language Order" under the Setting -> Language & Region? You could try to change the language to English UK as primary and then back to just regular English. Remove any other languages that aren't needed... if any present... the only other place for any language preference would be under the Keyboard settings. You can have additional keyboards.
